Subutex, fights and love story

Two years of immersion in chaotic lives with the homeless in Sète and Montpellier. Alcohol, fights, violence against women, cops, firefighters, Subutex trafficking, shot of methadone behind walls, prison, craving, Polish with metal bars which… bar the door and punch stopped 2 cm from my face .

No one is on the street just because of the lack of money. But we find ourselves there for lack of love. The tipping point is the lack of family solidarity and emotional stability. The myth of the unemployed on the street is an illusion. There is money: welfare state allocation or begging. Not all recipients of social minima are on the sidewalk. The homeless don’t know how to take care of them. No one taught them.
